Besides ease of use, this exclusive tensioning system helps extend bar and chain life. To protect the user in the event of a kickback, a built-in chain brake stops the chain when improper contact is made when the chainsaw is powered up. In addition, a greasable sprocket on the nose of the Oregon bar helps increase bar and chain life. During operation, an automatic oiler provides constant lubrication to both bar and chain. A rubber overmold rear handle and ergonomic full-wrap front handle provide optimum comfort and control.
